Traffic Jam is one of the most irritating problems in Bangladesh. It causes intolerable suffering to the passengers. This problem is the result of rapid growth of population and the increasing number of vehicle. Many vehicles, moving on the same road in the same time are causing traffic jam. Many drivers do not obey the traffic rules. Some drivers stop buses here and there and try to board passengers. To relieve the passengers of the sufferings of traffic jam, several steps should be taken by the government as well non-government organizations. Traffic rules should be imposed strictly so that the drivers are bound to obey them. The number of traffic police should be increased

যানজট বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বিরক্তিকর সমস্যাগুলির মধ্যে একটি। এতে যাত্রীদের অসহনীয় দুর্ভোগ পোহাতে হচ্ছে। দ্রুত জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি এবং যানবাহনের সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধির ফলেই এই সমস্যা। একই সড়কে একই সময়ে অনেক যানবাহন চলাচলের কারণে যানজটের সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে। অনেক চালক ট্রাফিক নিয়ম মানছেন না। কিছু চালক এখানে-সেখানে বাস থামিয়ে যাত্রী উঠানোর চেষ্টা করে। যানজটের ভোগান্তি থেকে যাত্রীদের মুক্তি দিতে সরকারের পাশাপাশি বেসরকারি সংস্থাগুলোকেও বেশ কিছু পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে। ট্রাফিক নিয়ম কঠোরভাবে আরোপ করা উচিত যাতে চালকরা তা মানতে বাধ্য হয়। ট্রাফিক পুলিশের সংখ্যা বাড়াতে হবে
